Am I crazy? I think so!

Yep I have really lost my mind now. hehehehe. Has if I don't have enough on my plate I have added more. On March 24 i will be a full time student going to school from 8:30am to 5:00pm. I will be going to school to get my cosmetology license. 9 to 10 months of school then state examination (hopefully I will pass) then to a job. A Job?! Yep a job for the first time in 10 years. My children think it is funny. Mommy is going to have homework and her first day of school is or first day of spring break. My kids are enjoying telling me things that I have always told them (ex:Homework is done as soon as yo get in the door.). I don't think it has hit them yet just how different it will be when I go from a stay at home mom to a full time student. Gee, I hope I remember how to take notes and all those things. Hehehehe I am 34 and had to buy a combination lock for my locker at school. I have to give credit to my own mom. I wouldn't be going to school with out her help. She is playing free babysitter and dealing with my oldest when the school calls to say he is giving them a hard time and dealing with doctor appointments. Thank you mommy!!Ok kid update time.

My daughter went straight from cheerleading to basketball. Her team is playing in the finals tomorrow. Then Monday she starts softball practice. What has happen to my baby? She used to be my Velcro child(you know Velcro to my side). I don't know how well she will do in softball but we will see. She is really coming out of her shell. And boy is she getting moody(wink wink). Oh it is also girl scout cookie season.

My middle son finish the football season with a 5-5 record. He wanted to play basketball but learn when mommy says everything c's or better to play she means it. I gave him repeated warnings that if he didn't bring up one of his grades he wouldn't be able to play, I guess he decided to test me. He did get his grade up but not in enough time to play basketball. Lesson learn, I hope. By the way he got that grade up high enough to be on honor roll.

My oldest son is doing much better. He is still giving his teacher and aide a run for their money, but he is doing better. He also made honor roll. A honor roll at that. He goes next weekend to have allergy testing done again. That is not going to be fun for anyone.

Hubby is still not sure if my going to school is a good thing or a bad thing. To him being a stay at home mom isn't a job until he face with it for a day. Hmmmm I wonder what he will think now?lol.

Till next time......................

gee look i missed august.......

OK OK so i slack off again. i have been a very busy mommy.August was the beginning of the official football and cheerleading season. Did I say cheerleading? Yep! I am a first year cheerleading mommy. My daughter wanted to be a cheerleader and by george she is. Lucky me..lol! I am also a second year football mommy as well. So our Saturdays are spent at the football field. My daughter cheers for the 9 year old football team and my son plays for the 11-12 year old team. So a mom who never really liked football now watches 3 games every Saturday. Needless to say I am learning a lot about football. There are those Saturdays when I have to work the concession stand between the two games. That is always lots of fun. Oh both of these 2 kids of mine are also involve with scouts.
Now my oldest, the autistic one, had a psy appointment. Well on his blood work his insulin came back on the high side for a second time. So now we are on limit sugar intake watch. Like this kid needed more problems. So now we have to fight, oops meant supervise what he can eat vs what he is use to eating.
My daughter, you know the cheerleader, as started her second round of testing for glaucoma which won't be finish till November sometime.
Oh and school started august 23rd. I now have 2 in middle school and only one in the immediate school.
Well this is just a rough overview of August hopefully I will be back to post soon.

Friday the 13th

Do you have it? Do you know what it is? It is the fear of Friday the 13th. A specialized form of this fear is triskaidekaphobia,a phobia (fear) of the number thirteen.

That has long ago origins.
It has roots traced all the way to Biblical times, when the 13th guest at the Last Supper betrayed Jesus and caused his Crucifixion, which was held on a Friday.Friday’s ill-fated day in superstition is believed to result from the belief that it was the day of the week on which Eve tempted Adam.

Whatever the origin, by the late Middle Ages both Friday and the number 13 were considered bearers of misfortune.

Are you laughing? Are you sure you don't have it? Then think about this:

would you fly on Friday the 13th?

Would you get married on Friday the 13th?

Would you have a dinner party with 13 guest?

Would you stay on the 13th floor of the hotel?

If given the option would you give birth on Friday the 13th?

would you go to camp on Friday th 13th?(for those of u that remember I had to throw that one in)

Got you thinking now don't I.

. Among the activities viewed as taboo to do on a Friday are: setting sail on a ship; moving house; beginning any new work; writing a letter; knitting; starting a journey; and, believe it or not, cutting your nails. In both England and America the custom to hang criminals on a Friday earned it the reputation of Hangman’s day.

It seems one activity offers some promise on a Friday - sleeping. The thought is, if you repeat the dream you had during the night to a family member on Friday morning the dream would come true. It is certainly worth a try, assuming of course you only tell your family about the dreams you want to come true.

Disclaimer: this post was only meant for fun. After all i did leave it on a good note!

IT's been how long since I post?! What have I been doing?!

Well it has been a very long time since I posted, but that is life when living with an autistic child. December and January was not a good month for him too many routine disruptions and a car accident. February was a bit better and I can't remember what happen in March. April I had the worst Easter dinner ever. The first mistake was letting my sister take care of everything(now we all do bring things with us). We did have a ham but everything else was macaroni salad, regular salad, pasta salad, potato salad, chips. I have nothing against any of those foods just having them all at the same time. I myself brought 4 homemade pies and two cheesecakes(i was in charge of dessert). But that's enough about Easter. May brought one of the many birthday parties of my family(including extended). The party was a roller skating party, not the first one we have been to. When it was time to eat my oldest autistic son got up to go eat, well he move too fast and his feet ended up in front of him and he landed on his back. TIP:For those of you who don't know my autistic son has a very, very, high pain tolerance. He proceeded to get up and eat cake and pizza. He also walk around in his skates some more (he never goes out in the rink he just walks around in his skates). When we left I took to get them sandals at Wal mart. On the drive home he starts telling me he can't move his arm, so when we get home i check his arm and he jerks away when i touch his elbow by now it is 6:30pm on Sunday. Well I figure I will take him to the doctor the following day.But for some reason i get up and take him to urgent care. I don't know why i took I just got up and did it, my mom told me it was just my mommy senses kicking in. Anyways, when we see the doctor at urgent care he says he doesn't think it is broken but he was going to take a xray anyways. That turn out to be a good thing. His upper arm was broke just below the growth plate,so they send us all the way downtown to Children's hospital. At children's they put him in a splint and a sling then tell us to follow up in three days in the ortho clinic. At the clinic 3 days later they take the splint off and put him in a sling and wrap. They wouldn't put in a cast cause the cast would have to go from his wrist to over his shoulder and with him being autistic they didn't think he would tolerate it. So since may may I have fought with my son about not using or moving his arm(did i mention it was his right arm). He has kept me hopping. So that's what happen in May. June school was out and there was Cub scout day camp where i my middle son and my volunteer for the week. Then my daughter attended girl scout day camp and VBS was also that same week where I taught. Then on June 30 my middle son turn 12 and my Mother in law arrive in town. also in that last week into July I also got the decluttering itch and declutter my home. Not an easy job cause you see I am a hopeless pack rat. But let me tell you my house is now at this moment completely declutter.

Hopefully I don't take as long to blog again but with my life you never know.
