As Josie and Jed walk into the school building they ran into Jeana and Ryan.
"So how are you surviving this morning?", Jeana ask Josie as the guys talked to each other off to the side.
"It started out painful but is starting to get better since Jed took pity on me." replied Josie.
Jeana laughed as she said,"I am sure Jed did."
"Josie, Jeana come over here." yelled Ryan. "Why not come with me and Jed today instead of going to classes?"
"I'm in."said Jeana.
"So am I." chimed Josie.
So Jeana and Josie stash their bags in there lockers and were off. They jumped into Jed's car and sped out of the parking lot. Jed headed the car toward a house he knew he could get just about anything he wanted, he's cousin's house.

Jed's cousin, Justin, was knowing well around the neighborhood as the one stop spot. Justin look up from what he was doing and saw Jed driving up with a car load.
"Well it looks like my cousin has bought something interesting." said Justin to his partner.
" Very interesting." said Justin's partner,Mick, as he was eyeing the girls.
" What's up bro?" yelled Jed as the gang got out of the car and headed up the steps to the house.
" Who our your new friends cuzin."
" This is Josie and Jeana and you know Ryan."
" What's up?"said Ryan. " We came for a little sumthin' for a small party of our own."
" Of your own?" smirk Mick. "Why not just join us here for awhile."
Justin smiled at Mick knowing what he was up to. The girls look at the guys and at the same time said ,"Why not."
" The day has just got very interesting." said Justin to Mick as they went into the house.

Jed and Ryan got the girls some drinks. Josie choke on the first sop she took and the gang laugh.
" A little stronger then I am used too." sputter out Josie.
"Then what your used too?" laughed Jena. "Since when are you used to anything but pop."
" What do we have here on the table?" spied Ryan
"Some odds and ends."replied Justin. " were getting a delivery in this afternoon."
" Want to make some money?" asked Mick to the boys.
Having done it before the boys smiled slyly and reply yes.
"Now wait a minute, I don't know about this." said Josie nervously.
" It'll be alright.",piped up Jeana,"They do it all the time. Come on it'll be something to do."
"Sure why not."said Josie wearily.
So the boys gather up what was ling around on the table and headed for town where all the kids hung out. Even though it was only late morning the place was hopping. The boys went to work and in a few hours they had made their final sale. The gang headed back to Justin's house to finish up the dealing.
" How it go?" ask Justin.
" A complete sale out." said Jed.
"Great!! You can have an split half the money." told Mick.
" Time to party! Let's go!! said Ryan handing money to Mick.
"Why not stay here and party?" Justin suggested slyly. "Then it won't cost you a thing. You are after all family."

I'm still here

I am still here and haven't forgot about the story. It is just between doctor appointments and sick kids I haven't had time but no fear i have began tyoing the next installment.

It was a warm spring day when she awoke in her shabby little house next to the railroad tracks wondering what life would behold something new for her today. Josie was getting ready for school dreaming about the day she would be able to blow this town and find a life of her own. Josie headed for the bus stop for another day of school, wondering why she was going at all. It wasn't like she was going to be able to go to college my any means imaginable. Money was very scarce in her family as was food at times. She let out a sigh knowing at least she was going to get at least one hot meal today.

The bell sounded to end the school day. As Josie was walking out to get on the bus for the ride home her friend Jeana and a couple of boys pulled along side her in a car.
"Come get in the car and have some fun with us." Jeana yelled out the window of the car.
" I can't.", said Josie, "I've got to get home."
" Come on and have a little fun Josie. What can you lose." said Jeana to Josie as the boys chimed in.
Josie thought it over . What did she have to lose, not much she thought. Josie got into the car with them and the car speed off.

They ended up at a house the boys, Jed and Ryan , knew. Their seem to be a party going on already in full swing. Josie and Jeana started looking around and what they saw amaze Jeana and shocked Josie. There was beer and jack and beam about any hard liquor you could think of as well as drugs of every kind. Jeana grab a beer and then gave one to Josie. They follow the boys through the house out toward the pool.

Jed found and lit up a dooby and passed it to Ryan who took a hit and passed it to Jeana. After Jeana took a hit she passed it to Josie. Josie took it and thought for a moment, what do I have to lose, then took her first hit of marijuana ever. She passed it back to Jed.

The night wore on for Josie. The higher she got the more free she felt, something she had never felt before. The night wore on as she and Jeana dance the night away with the guys. Josie felt the night go by in a blur. It was after 2am when she got home Josie sneak back into her bedroom window as to not wake anyone.

When Josie awoke the next morning she felt as though she had been ran over by the train that passes by her house. She painfully got dressed for school and has she headed out her bedroom door she realize the pain was about to get worse. Her mother was waiting in the kitchen doorway to great her and Josie could tell by the look on her mother's face it wasn't going to be good.

"Where were you all after school and all night for that matter?"her mom asked.
"NOwhere!" replied Josie
"You had to be somewhere cause you weren't here." her mom said loudly.
" What does it matter." Josie winced.
" It matters to me, Josie." her mom said losing her patience.
" It only matters to you cause I wasn't her to babysit for free or do the other hundred things that you should be doing. I just wanted to have some fun, it not like I have anything to lose." yelled Josie as she ran out the door and to the bus holding her head.
"Josie wait! Come back here!" yelled her mom, but it was too late the bus had pulled away.

When Josie got to school Jed was waiting for her.
" I have something just for you." Jed said slyly.
"What would that be?" smiled Josie
Jed showed Josie what was in his hand. It was a couple of pills.
"It'll help you with your headache." smiled Jed.
Josie took them from him and swallowed them in one gulp. Her and Jed were laughing as they went into the school building.

It is another day with another chance to start anew .(hahahahahaha) Any way why do husbands tend to ignore the obvious. Then when it gets to real the make it your job. Anyone who has or knows of an autistic child knows just how hard it can be to be a parent to one. This always falls on to my plate. Now don't get me wrong it isn't just my oldest kid this happens with it is all three. I but hubby couldn't even tell you thier teachers name let alone what they are allergic too. But he isn't all bad when it the good times he steps right up and in the bad times steps away leaving it to me wether i am ready or not. But I am glad that tide is now turning due to the fact kids grow up. Now that my son is taller then me already at tweleve (and a 145 pounds to boot) my hubby has been force to take part in those bad times. We will see how it goes.......

Ok I am new at this but I will give it a try. My life is far from normal and i live in a catch 22. To clarify this Iwill start with family make up. I have been married for 14 years(not bad for someone who is only 32). My husband is 7 years older then I, but there was no cradle robbing we dated for 3 years before we married; a month after I graduated high school. Moving on..

My oldest child is 12 will be 13 New Years Eve; he has autism and amild developmental delay and possible ocd. My son also recently required a bipap machine. He function at the moment between a 7-8 yearold level. He keeps life most interesting and busy. My middle child is also mildly delayed and has disruptive behavior disoder. His greatest joy is that he played football this falland finish the season 6-4. He is also a Cub Scout. My youngest child, my girl, has visual processing disorder which is a learning disability. She is also a Girl Scout.

Me, myself, and I do not "work". In the occupation question i write volunteer. My various titles include Cub scout leader, cub scout committee chair, girl scout leader,Service unit Cookie manger,Sunday school teacher, surrogate parent. Has you see i do not "work" as my husband reminds me often.

Now for the catch 22......

Since I don't work my children recieve ssi and a medical card. The ssi goes up and down to go with what my husband earns. For the last few years i have wanted to go back to work(hahaha) but then the catch 22 comes into play. If I go to work kids will lose thier health care. Well put them on your husband insurance you say well if we did it would cost over $100 a week, well you will make that up with the job you would have ;true except .....My oldestis autistic a preexisiting condition. My son is on 7 different meds to control behavior and a bipap machine not too mention the 3 to 4 doctor appointments i run to a month. And there is that pesky daycare problem of them not taking 12 year olds let alone a 13 year old (which he will be in 2 months). Hence my catch 22. talk about a mess up situation.

But life is good and quiet even if it is only for a moment.
