Ok I am new at this but I will give it a try. My life is far from normal and i live in a catch 22. To clarify this Iwill start with family make up. I have been married for 14 years(not bad for someone who is only 32). My husband is 7 years older then I, but there was no cradle robbing we dated for 3 years before we married; a month after I graduated high school. Moving on..

My oldest child is 12 will be 13 New Years Eve; he has autism and amild developmental delay and possible ocd. My son also recently required a bipap machine. He function at the moment between a 7-8 yearold level. He keeps life most interesting and busy. My middle child is also mildly delayed and has disruptive behavior disoder. His greatest joy is that he played football this falland finish the season 6-4. He is also a Cub Scout. My youngest child, my girl, has visual processing disorder which is a learning disability. She is also a Girl Scout.

Me, myself, and I do not "work". In the occupation question i write volunteer. My various titles include Cub scout leader, cub scout committee chair, girl scout leader,Service unit Cookie manger,Sunday school teacher, surrogate parent. Has you see i do not "work" as my husband reminds me often.

Now for the catch 22......

Since I don't work my children recieve ssi and a medical card. The ssi goes up and down to go with what my husband earns. For the last few years i have wanted to go back to work(hahaha) but then the catch 22 comes into play. If I go to work kids will lose thier health care. Well put them on your husband insurance you say well if we did it would cost over $100 a week, well you will make that up with the job you would have ;true except .....My oldestis autistic a preexisiting condition. My son is on 7 different meds to control behavior and a bipap machine not too mention the 3 to 4 doctor appointments i run to a month. And there is that pesky daycare problem of them not taking 12 year olds let alone a 13 year old (which he will be in 2 months). Hence my catch 22. talk about a mess up situation.

But life is good and quiet even if it is only for a moment.
